#MyAGAPEstory-HOW I BROKE THE LEASH. -

I love singing..it's practically my life. I joined a fellowship(name withheld) in AAUA which had restrictions on it's members ability to minister in other fellowship and i had no inkling whatsoever about the embargo when i joined up,

All the friends i had in 100level (Blaster, Gideon Omomofe, Bunmi Olatunji, Toyin Edemode, Titi Adeniyi, Damilola Oluwaleye) were all committed possibilitarians, save for one person (Popee) who attended and was committed to Chapel of His Glory. Even though we were close friends, the ambience and joy they radiated during fellowship discussion always got me coveting and endeared me to ACF. I longed for what they had but was also very committed to my fellowship and didn't know how to port. When the invite came from two of the people above to minister with them in a group at one of Agape's programme, i leapt at it and ministered with the whole of my being.

That ministration got me into trouble with my fellowship who labelled me a rebel and sell-out. I couldn't understand the ostracization seeing we belonged to one fold- Christ. When they went on to explain that i couldn't minister in any other fellowship or attend any other church program outside theirs, i decided there and then to break the leash as my music-ministry WOULD NOT be restricted. Possibility voices were awesome.. Gosh, we had a pedigree for having fun while blessing people and being blessed. I remember Agape Fiesta with relish!!!

Agape exposed me to evangelism in the realest and purest from of it. Prior to Agape, i'd always thought the best way i could reach out to people could only be achieved through singing. Never did i imagine i would get a platform to evangelize to people, lead them to Christ/church and follow up on their Spiritual well-being.

Fast-forward that awesome decision of joining Agape, i made the best of friends/family and got a support system that more than made up all i ever hoped for. Every moment i spent in ACF was worth it. Every admonition has helped shape me up. Every rebuke i received knocked the gospel truth into me. I was groomed, primed, polished, refined and renewed in Agape. Some of the skills that have distinguished me at my workplace(s) were picked up when i was the AGS... I would do a book if i were to go into all the details, but would cap it all by saying if i had to  repeat my Uni Cycle again, i would walk straight into ACF from the get-go.
